  • ¼ cup ghee
  • ½ cup powdered sugar or jaggery
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • Chopped nuts (almonds, cashews)

Preparation Method

Step 1: Prepare the Dal

  1. Wash all the lentils thoroughly and soak them for about 30 minutes.
  2. Pressure cook the dals with turmeric and salt for 3–4 whistles until soft.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
  4. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  5. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
